The most exciting offseason addition for every NFL team

While the Cardinals lost Hollywood Brown in free agency, Harrison could be a more than viable replacement. The former Ohio State star has a chance to emerge as the team’s No. 1 receiver immediately, showing flashes of his Hall of Fame father.

Atlanta made unorthodox decisions at quarterback during the offseason, paying Cousins handsomely and then drafting fellow quarterback Michael Penix Jr. eighth overall. The job is Cousins’ for now, and he’s instantly made Atlanta the favorite in the NFC South with weapons like Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson.

The powerful Henry appears made for the Ravens run-heavy offense, and pairing him with mobile playmaker Lamar Jackson creates even more issues for defenses. Henry has a chance to revitalize his career in Baltimore after averaging sub-5.0 yards per carry over the last three seasons.

The Bills lost Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the offseason, but hope to replace them with Coleman and Curtis Samuel. The excitement is apparent for Coleman, in particular, as a massive Red Zone target and magnetic personality. 

The Panthers searched for help for Bryce Young this offseason, and found it with Legette, Jonathon Brooks, and Diontae Johnson. Legette had over 1,200 yards receiving at South Carolina last season, and can also help as a kick returner.

The Bears have been synonymous with anemic quarterback play during the history, but they hope to have found the solution with Williams. The USC superstar has a lot of pressure as the first overall pick in the draft, but also has plenty of help including DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, D’Andre Swift, and Rome Odunze.

The Bengals finally said goodbye to Joe Mixon, but found a formidable replacement in Moss. He had a strong year with Indianapolis while Jonathan Taylor was sidelined and should provide support for the Bengals offense in tandem with Chase Brown.

Cleveland has made a strong effort to add receiving help in three consecutive offseasons, with Jeudy their big addition this year. The former Broncos first-round pick has struggled to reach his potential but is still only 25.

The Cowboys were handicapped by cap issues during the offseason, and allowed Tony Pollard to walk in free agency. Elliott has returned to Dallas after one year in New England, and will likely work in tandem with Rico Dowdle in the Cowboys backfield. He doesn’t have the burst he did early in his career but remains a capable short-yardage runner.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton couldn’t resist drafting Nix 12th overall. His quick release and size draw some comparisons to former Payton pupil Drew Brees, and Broncos fans hope the former Auburn and Oregon quarterback can have similar NFL success.

Detroit started to revamp their secondary last year, and have continued that effort by adding cornerbacks Davis and Terrion Arnold. The secondary is now a strength for the team, with Brian Branch and second-round pick Ennis Rakestraw also in the fold.

Green Bay made the surprising decision to sign Jacobs and cut long-time running back Aaron Jones. Packers fans will miss Jones, especially after he signed with the rival Vikings, but Jacobs could have more juice at age 26. Jacobs is also just one year removed from leading the league in rushing.

Houston took a giant leap forward last season with the help of head coach DeMeco Ryans and quarterback CJ Stroud. They hope to continue the momentum after adding veterans Joe Mixon and Diggs. Diggs seemingly lost a step with Buffalo last season but remains one of the game’s top playmakers with six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

The Colts are building a reputable receiving corps, adding Josh Downs in last year’s draft and Mitchell this year. The second-round pick brings elite athleticism and has a chance to grow with young quarterback Anthony Richardson.

The Jaguars were outbid for Calvin Ridley’s services and moved on from Zay Jones, but they could fill the void with Thomas and Gabe Davis. Thomas is particularly intriguing as an elite deep threat who scored 17 touchdowns at LSU last season.

Despite their second consecutive Super Bowl victory last season, the Chiefs were criticized for their lack of wide receiver production. The front office addressed the need by signing Hollywood Brown and trading up in the draft to select Worthy. The Texas alum broke the NFL Combine 40-time record, giving the team arguably its best deep threat since Tyreek Hill.

The Raiders failed to add a quarterback in the draft, but did strengthen their receiver group after selecting Bowers in the first round. The former Georgia star scored 26 touchdowns over three college seasons, and features elite run after the catch ability.

The Chargers cap issues forced the new front office to make some tough decisions during the offseason. They hope for a soft landing after hiring Harbaugh. He had incredible success as a head coach of the 49ers and is the defending National Champion head coach at Michigan. LA could feature a more run-heavy approach this season, but fans hope the team is more disciplined under Harbaugh.

The Rams have impossible shoes to fill on defense after Aaron Donald’s retirement, but worked to replace him in the draft. Verse is the most notable addition as the team’s first-round pick, and the Rams also selected defensive end Braden Fiske in the second round.

There can never be too many weapons in Mike McDaniel’s offense, and Beckham adds another intriguing target behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Beckham isn’t the explosive player that he was early in his career, but he could be a fine addition working underneath.

Minnesota moved on from Kirk Cousins in the offseason, but rookie J.J. McCarthy enters a great situation. The former Michigan quarterback has elite weapons with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, and new addition Aaron Jones, along with offensive-minded head coach Kevin O’Connell.

The Patriots struck out on their previous effort to draft a first-round quarterback in Mac Jones, but hope for better success with Maye. The gifted quarterback has a strong arm and mobility that Jones didn’t have, along with a new coaching staff in New England.

The enigmatic Young hasn’t reached his projection after winning Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020, showing inconsistency and injuries. New Orleans hopes he can regain his early form from Washington and give the defense a boost.

New York has been in search of receiver help over the last several years, and several of their high-profile additions failed to help. Nabers could be their final answer, showing superstar production at LSU over the last two seasons to earn him status as the sixth pick in the draft.

The Jets had another busy offseason as they try to return to relevance. They added former Chargers star Mike Williams to a talented receiver room that already included Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard.

Philadelphia is set to feature their third starting running back in three years, signing Barkley to replace D’Andre Swift. The former Giants star had some injury issues again last season but joins arguably the most explosive offense of his career.

The Steelers tried to address quarterback by adding both Russell Wilson and Fields. Wilson is the assumed starter, but Fields shows more upside as an exciting and mobile former first-round pick. If Wilson falters like he did in Denver, Steelers fans will quickly be calling for Fields to take the job.

San Francisco made a notable pass rush addition for the second straight offseason, added Floyd to last year’s addition of Javon Hargrave. Floyd has been a consistent pass rush contributor with at least nine sacks in each of the last four seasons, and should continue to made the 49ers pass rush elite alongside Hargrave and Nick Bosa.

Seattle is hoping to revamp a leaky defense, and Murphy was its most notable addition. The first-round pick has the potential to be an elite interior pass rusher after flashing at Texas.

Tampa Bay was able to re-sign Mike Evans, but they also thought about the future with their third-round pick. McMillan took a step back at Washington last season but was an explosive 1,000-yard receiver in 2022.

After adding DeAndre Hopkins last offseason, the Titans spent heavily to add Ridley this year. He rebounded last year in Jacksonville after a year-long suspension and creates an excellent receiver duo with Hopkins.

Washington has shown very shaky quarterback play recently, so there’s reason to be very excited about Daniels. The Heisman Trophy winner showed mobility and elite accuracy at LSU last season, and has several exciting weapons to work with in Washington.
