Not even a little thing like retirement can slow down the GOAT.

Even at 46-years-old and having been out of football for more than a year, Tom Brady looks like he could still hit the gridiron and show the youngsters a thing or two.

The six-time Super Bowl winner gave his Instagram followers a look at the intense exercise routine, which he has been keeping up after stepping away from the NFL in 2023.

“24 years later…” Brady wrote over the video, referring to how long it has been since the New England Patriots drafted him in the sixth round. ”@nobull. no excuses. Show up for yourself so you can show up all damn day!”

Brady has come a long way physically from when he was drafted. As he began to rack up Super Bowl rings and MVP awards with the Patriots before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the final three seasons of his career, a photo from the 2000 NFL combine showed a rather average-looking Brady emerged.

His dedication to fitness helped him become not only one of the best NFL players ever, but also allowed him to play well into his 40s – almost unheard of in such a brutal sport.

He did admit last year that in retirement, he has lost roughly 10 pounds while maintaining his fitness.

“Yeah, I’m down about 10 pounds, but I’m actually very fit right now,” he said on the Let’s Go podcast in September.

“I haven’t had the stress that I had while I was playing, so that’s allowed me to focus a little bit more on my physical health.”

He began to focus on his fitness, starting the TB12 fitness brand and adhering to a very strict diet, which excludes caffeine, white sugar, dairy, nightshades and iodized salt.

“You could prioritize a lot of other things — career, kids, relationships, family, greater good, community,” he said, “but at the end of the day, physical and mental health should sit at the top of the pyramid.”

While Brady does appear to be enjoying his retirement, he has left the door open for a comeback.
