Santrupt Misra, a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate and former HR head of Aditya Birla Group filed his nomination papers from the Cuttack Lok Sabha Seat for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. His affidavit shows that Mistra has investments in 59 mutual fund schemes.

The former HR head of Aditya Birla Group has investments in six mutual fund schemes of Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. The total value of investments in Aditya Birla Sun Life Arbitrage Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Banking and PSU Debt Fund was recorded at Rs 4.30 crore and Rs 7.78 crore, respectively as of March 2024. The value of investment in Aditya Birla Sun Life Corporate Bond was Rs 4.84 crore in the same time period.

He has also invested in the flexi cap and focused funds of the fund house. The total value of investment in Aditya Birla Sun Life Flexi Cap Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Focused Fund were recorded at Rs 8.45 crore and Rs 3.54 crore, respectively. The total value of investment in the liquid fund by Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund was recorded at Rs 2.02 crore as on March 31, 2024.

The total value of investments in Axis Banking & PSU Debt Fund and Axis Focused 25 Fund were Rs 11.29 crore and Rs 2.56 crore, respectively.

He has also invested in six schemes from HDFC Mutual Fund. The total value of HDFC Corporate Bond Fund investment is Rs 12.69 crore. The two debt funds from the fund house where Misra has investments are HDFC Medium Term Fund and HDFC Short Term Debt Fund. The value of investments in these two funds stood at at Rs 2.06 crore and Rs 56.56 lakh, respectively. HDFC Small Cap Fund and HDFC Top 100 Fund had total investment value of Rs 3.69 crore and Rs 2.62 crore, respectively.

Santrupt Misra had investments in ICICI Prudential Banking & PSU Debt Fund and ICICI Prudential Corporate Bond Fund worth Rs 15.54 crore and Rs 12.44 crore, respectively as of March 2024. The total value of investments in ICICI Prudential Short-Term Fund was Rs 2.10 crore.

The candidate also had investments in SBI Bluechip which had a total value of Rs 3.74 crore. The total value of investments in Kotak Emerging Equity Fund, the second largest scheme in the midcap category based on assets managed, was recorded at Rs 4.74 crore as of March 31, 2024.

The value of investments in Mirae Asset NYSE FANG + ETF was Rs 11.96 crore as on March 31, 2024. He had also made investments in Bharat Bond ETF which had different maturity.
