Q3 results today: Asian Paints, LTIMindtree among 22 companies to announce earnings

Multinational paints maker Asian Paints will announce its December quarter earnings on Wednesday along with 21 other companies.

Among other important results that are likely to be tracked closely today include those of LTIMindtree, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company and IIFL Finance.

On Tuesday, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank and Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) announced their October-December quarter results. India’s largest lender by market cap HDFC Bank reported a 34% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its net profit at Rs 16,372.54 crore. The bottomline was higher than an ETNow poll of Rs 15,846 crore. Meanwhile, Federal Bank and BoM posted 25% and 34% YoY jump in profit after tax (PAT).

Asian Paints Q3 results

Led by healthy revenue growth and benign input costs, Asian Paints Ltd is likely to report strong numbers for the quarter ended December.

The paint maker’s consolidated net profit is seen rising a sharp 30% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,395 crore, according to the average of estimates given by 12 brokerages. Consolidated revenue is seen rising 7.5% YoY to Rs 9,257 crore.

LTIMindtree Q3 results

LTI Mindtree is expected to report a constant currency (CC) revenue growth anywhere between 0.9-1.5% on a sequential basis, supported by higher passthrough revenues. Overall, revenue growth in rupee terms is likely to see a growth of around 3-4% year-on-year.

Profit for the same period is seen rising 18% year-on-year and about 2% quarter-on-quarter.

In the preceding September quarter, LTI Mindtree posted revenue growth of 8% to Rs 8,905 crore, while profit fell 2% to Rs 1,162 crore.
