The pair are seen arguing with other patrons, and security attempting to intervene.
The argument ends up turning physical before the video ends with Kent being flung upside down into a tree.
Kent presented at Newtorn Police Station on Wednesday where he was formally charged with affray.
The 54-year-old was granted bail and will appear in court on May 24, the police confirmed in a statement.
The other man, a 35-year-old, was also charged with affray.
Kent was stood down by Fox Sports and News Corp immediately after the incident.
“Fox Sports presenter and News Corp Australia columnist Paul Kent has been stood down pending an immediate investigation,” the statement said.
Kent was previously stood down for nine months after being charged with assaulting and choking his ex-girlfriend in May last year.
He was found not guilty and reinstated as co-host of NRL 360 this year.
