An unidentified man is sought a sexual assault that occurred in an East York elevator on Tuesday.

Toronto Police say a man entered an elevator in a residential building in the area of Secord and Barrington Aves. – near Danforth Ave. and Dawes Rd. – around 4 p.m.

The elevator was occupied by two other people, police say.
When one of the riders exited the elevator, the man followed and sexually assaulted the person.

The man, who was not known to the victim, then fled the building, police say.
Investigators have released security cameras images of a suspect hoping the public can help identify him.
He’s described as 25 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-10, with a medium build and sideburns. He was wearing a grey hat, a cardigan with horizontal stripes, and carrying a green bag.
