Kim Kardashian Has Gone Peak 2007 Messy Bun — See Photos

We are so used to seeing Kim Kardashian looking hyper-glamourous with her hair and makeup done by her loyal glam squad, hairstylist Chris Appleton and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic. But there are rare times that we get a more candid look at the Kardashian, and one of those times was on July 9. The reality TV star shared a selfie in which she looked comfortable and casual with a high messy bun — one that harkens back to the 2000s.

Kardashian posted the selfie on July 9 with the caption, “Soooo I took this pic last week when I was alone and now going through my phone I am freaking out noticing a woman in the window.” The “woman” she was referencing is the shadow in the background of her photo, which was hopefully just her reflection.

She was wearing a bubblegum-pink dress that looked like it was fashioned out of an oversized T-shirt. You’ll notice the unfinished hem around the armpit area and the safety pins around her waist. Her dark brunette hair was piled high on her head into the messiest of all messy buns .Her ends stuck out from the topknot falling around her head. There were also wavy pieces  that might have been too short to fit into the bun falling out around the nape of her neck.

It looked like her face was bare of most makeup, or at the very least, she was going with a no-makeup-makeup look. At most, I think she might have been wearing mascara and lip balm. The minimalist vibes were all over this look, even down to her short manicure. A beige color coated each square-shaped nail.
