If I Left the House With Wet Hair Like Rihanna Did, I Definitely Wouldn’t Look This Good — See the Photos

Rihanna has the magical ability to look good no matter what she’s doing. It’s an enviable quality and one I personally do not possess, but I admire those who do — and Rih is definitely at the top of the list. Case in point: her latest night out, where she left her New York City residence with wet-look waves that manage to look perfect despite being, you know, wet.

Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky were snapped out and about in NYC looking as typically stylish as usual, with the Fenty Beauty founder in a denim-on-denim ensemble with her recently lightened hair styled in the aforementioned post-shower waves. Her hair is casually parted to one side and worn over one shoulder, nearly hitting the waistband of her jeans. The real question is, is her hair actually wet or is this the work of some powerful hair gel? That remains to be seen, but whatever Rihanna did to bring this mermaidcore look to life, it’s working and I’m jealous. When I leave the house with wet hair, I look like the proverbial drowned rat. When Rihanna does, she looks like a goddess.

While Rih is wearing dark sunglasses that block out her eye makeup, she’s rocking lighter brows than normal, likely to match her fresh blonde. Her lips are lined and filled in with a chic rose shade, and if you zoom in, you can see she’s also wearing a peachy blush and a golden highlighter on the tip of her nose. The musician finished off her date night vibe with medium-length scarlet red nails similar to those she wore with her red-on-red-on-red ensemble at the Super Bowl, just in a shorter length.
