Gwyneth Paltrow releases Goop’s Traveller Gift Guide with plenty of Australian products in the mix

Gwyneth Paltrow is the queen of Christmas gift guides, and each year her wellness brand Goop dishes out the best wellness products to shop ahead of the silly season.

This year was no different with the actress and mother opting for a number of travel essentials, skincare, makeup and clothing items – many of whom were either Australian made or shoppable from the land Down Under.

To start off with, the 51-year-old is a firm believer in the skincare giant Augustinus Bader, and in particular the $526 Retinol Serum.

“Made with retinol to soften the look of lines and wrinkles, plus Bader’s TFC8 complex to nourish and protect skin,” Gwyneth wrote of the uber popular liquid gold.

It’s available in both a 15 and 30ml bottle so a little goes a long way and you can test it out at MECCA in Australia.

To stay fit well into the new year, Gwyneth is also a fan of New Balance’s Fresh Foam X 1080v13 Sneakers, which are both breathable and supportive.

The Iconic has currently got the sneakers on sale for 20 per cent for Black Friday, or you can pick them up from the New Balance website itself.

In an ode to true Australian fashion, Gwyneth added the brand Joslin to her Christmas wishlist, with the Anna Wool Quilt Knit Sweater and matching Elizabeth Wool Quilt Knit Pants making for the perfect cosy stay-in-before-NYE outfit.

She recommends NuFace products for a “DIY microcurrent facial”, The Upside’s Oslo Puffer Gilet and St. Moritz Knit Crewneck, which is currently available in all sizes, and Grown Alchemist’s Sooth Hand Cream, which you can purchase from Adore Beauty.

For those looking to bring the 90s back in the form of a film camera Australian-born label 35mm Co has copped a mention for its iconic white The Reloader camera, which is $99.

For jet-setters preparing to travel by plane to see family over Christmas the Slip Bon Voyage Jet Setter Travel Pillow, which you can purchase at Sephora, will spell the end to a sore neck.

“The pure silk pillowcase helps keep hair shiny and smooth too,” Gwyneth added.

She loves the ghd Flight+ Travel Hair Dryer, which is both powerful and portable, to give her hair that just-been-to-the-hairdressers feeling while abroad.
