Finally, A Ferrari Enzo You Can Actually Afford

The Ferrari Enzo’s stats may not be nearly as impressive as more recent hypercars, but with a mid-mounted 6.0-liter V12 and more than 600 hp, it’s still no slouch. Even more importantly, it’s special. The Enzo was named after Ferrari’s founder, with production limited to just 399 cars. As you can imagine, that means Enzos are incredibly expensive, with values currently somewhere in the $3.5 million range. So what if we told you that you could get all the style and Italian craftsmanship at a much more affordable price?

Yes, the infamous Fierri Enzo is back on the market and is currently for sale on Cars & Bids. Its 2.8-liter V6 makes, at most, 140 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, so it will be a bit slower than the V12. It also doesn’t come with a manual transmission, but then again, neither did the actual Enzo. Oh, and it’s red, which is a very popular color for Ferraris.

And while all Enzos are special, this one has true provenance. First, it destroyed the newer, more high-tech Porsche 918 Spyder in the viral Car Bros comparison test back in 2016, proving once and for all that old-school engineering and character beat electronic gimmicks and computer wizardry. You’d think someone would have told Porsche that if you put a range extender in an EV, it shouldn’t be so loud that you can barely have a conversation while it’s running. A few years later, it made an appearance at Monterey Car Week and was also named Concours d’Lemons Worst in Show.

With such a storied pedigree, you might assume such an incredible collector’s item would only exchange hands privately if it ever changed hands at all, but nope! All you have to do is place the highest bid, and this Italian stallion will be yours. As long as you can get it back from Canada, that is.
