Tourist spots in Georgia may want to think about doing the same thing next year after rowdy spring breakers wreaked havoc in Savannah and Tybee Island for the annual Orange Crush spring break party in Savannah.

While state officials insist that the State officials maintain that behaviour at the event was “pretty good,” the videos shared social media showed otherwise as topless brawls were captured along with piles of garbage being washed away into the ocean.
In a clip shared on TikTok, the beach is seen littered with plastic and glass bottles and cups that were left behind by partygoers.
In another video, two women can be seen lunging at one another before exchanging punches as their clothing appears to fly off.
One of the women appeared to be more concerned with fixing her wig than covering up her exposed breasts.

Commenters on social media were quick to call out the melee, with one asking, “When did Tybee Island become such a s*** show?”
Another noted: “Beautiful place, most of the time.”
The event returned to Tybee Island last year for the first time since 2020.
Tybee’s former mayor Shirley Sessions said in a statement last year that the Orange Crush Festival “was admittedly too large and chaotic.”
She added at the time: “But at the end of the day, Tybee Island is fortunate that no lives were lost and no property destroyed,” and promised to implement measures to keep things under control.
Footage of the aftermath at the beach prompted outrage from commenters, slamming the partygoers as “nasty” and calling the entire situation “sad.”

One person wrote, “Just ridiculous that they feel like the ocean is their personal trash can. From seeing the fights to seeing this. Absolutely disgusting.”
Another remarked, “If you can’t respect the environment, ban the kids,” while a third person suggested, “Arrest everyone for littering, 10 days.”
There were more than 6,000 partiers at Tybee Island, and Major Bob Holley of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told local outlet WSAV that, overall, he was pleased with the outcome.
“The behaviour has been pretty good today,” he said. “We’ve responded to a few medical calls with the Tybee medical authorities and that’s pretty much the extent of what we’ve done today.”
