Toronto’s five city-owned courses will be welcoming golfers Sat., March 30, and tee times are available now on the website.

Toronto’s five courses opening this weekend are: Dentonia Park, Don Valley, Humber Valley, Scarlett Woods and Tam O’Shanter.

There is a great history of municipal golf in Toronto, with Humber Valley opening more than 100 years ago and designed by the legendary Stanley Thompson.

In Mississauga, golfers will have to wait until April 5 to play Braeben’s 18-hole course and until April 24 to play the 9-hole Academy course. Lakeview will open on April 10.

Braeben and Lakeview are offering a nice bonus this season for Mississauga residents, who will be able to book tee times one hour earlier than non-residents, beginning at 8 p.m., seven days in advance. Golfers must have their profile updated to take advantage of this perk.

Mississauga residents will also receive a 5% discount off green fees.
