Farmer Wants a Wife apple farmer David McMahon and his partner Emily melted hearts as they documented a “cute” date online.
The couple took to Instagram to share how picking lemons on David’s farm in Pozieres, Qld, sparked an idea to enjoy some burgers and chips with lemon by a local dam.

Footage shared to David’s page was played with the Alivan Blu song Wild Eyes in the background.
“When work sparks date ideas,” David captioned the post.
In the video, Emily was seen picking lemons from rows of ripe trees before hundreds of lemons were seen on a conveyer belt, being cleaned and prepared to be sold.
However, the couple saved a few for themselves, taking a handful to a date spot by the water.
A platter of burgers with chips and calamari awaited, and Emily was seen cutting into a lemon to squeeze on top of the food.
In a separate video, David suffered a mishap as he squeezed a lemon, accidentally getting some of the juice in his eye.
The farmer took one hand to his eye as Emily laughed at the spectacle.
Fellow Farmer Wants a Wife star Sophie Holcombe, who won the heart of Farmer Brenton, was among those to comment on the post.
“Cuties,” she wrote, alongside a yellow love heart.
“You guys are so b****y cute,” another comment read.
“Cute guys,” another wrote as a third said, “Omg you guys are meant to be!”
“You pair are the cutest,” a user agreed.
The couple is back at work after enjoying some time off on the Whitsunday Islands earlier in July.
Taking to Instagram on July 13, David shared photos of he and Emily hanging out with friends and admiring the stunning island views.
“After a six-month harvest season of blackberries and apples, I couldn’t think of a better way than to celebrate our week off with these legends,” David captioned the post.
The couple recently celebrated six months together by posting a sweet video to Instagram.
“It’s a cause for celebration here on the farm today,” David told fans in a video posted to Instagram in June, as he sat beside his girlfriend on the couch.
“Em just finished her first term at a school in Stanthorpe and it’s our six-month anniversary.”
Emily was heard saying “yay” as David laughed and they clinked their glasses.
“Outside of that, it was about 12 months ago when I first signed up for Farmer Wants a Wife,” David continued.
“My life has completely changed for the better, and I thoroughly recommend it to any farmers out there that are willing to take the leap.”
Writing a caption for the video, David added: “Em has done an amazing job of making the transition out to the farm and every day just gets better and better.”
