’Tis the season to unleash your inner monster as we fall into the spookiest time of the year. From spine-chilling soirées in LA to costume extravaganzas in NYC, this year’s top Halloween parties are being rounded up by Vogue.
Starting out East, the festivities began with a late-night séance at Hulaween: Garden of Good and Evil, the annual party hosted by the Queen of Hocus Pocus herself, Bette Midler. In honor of the New York Restoration Project’s 28th annual gala, it was a night to remember, celebrating another year of the nonprofit’s transformative cleaning and greening efforts across New York City. The highlight? Midler sang to Robert De Niro as she honored the actor, producer, and director with the “Wind Beneath My Wings” Award.
Out West, Janelle Monae is set to host a star-studded bash dubbed WondaWeen and, in celebration of Día de Muertos, celebrity photographer Carlos Eric Lopez is hosting his fourth annual gala honoring Eva Longoria and Anthony Ramos.
Stay tuned as we continue to sink our fangs into the season’s most coveted invites.

Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project 28th Annual Hulaween
Green was the hue of the night at this year’s Hulaween: Garden of Good and Evil. Over 500 revelers descended upon Cipriani South Street, raising an impressive $2.2 million for the New York Restoration Project’s vital work in the city. Comedian, actress, and musician Cat Cohen emceed the star-studded extravaganza, celebrating NYRP’s mission to ensure everyone has access to lush green spaces. NYRP founder Bette Midler dazzled the crowd as she honored the legendary Robert De Niro with the Wind Beneath My Wings Award. Guests were treated (not tricked) to electrifying performances by Grammy-nominated En Vogue and sultry burlesque star Jake Dupree. The night was topped off with a thrilling costume contest judged by iconic Tony Award-winning producer Jordan Roth and a DJ set and entertainment brought on by House of Yes and DJ Boyyyish that went thump into the night. “What an extraordinary night,” said Midler. “One of the most fun, creative crowds ever, in all of our 29 years!”
