Muhsin, who plays for the under 13s at Pascoe Vale Football Club in Melbourne, joined Sunrise to discuss his situation as his family desperately try to raise enough money to send him to England.

“What would it mean for you to get Mus (Muhsin) to the training camp in the UK?” Sunrise host Matt Shirvington asked.

“To all of us, we have seem him work so hard and it would be a reward for him and an opportunity,” Muhsin’s dad Mohamed Seifeddine said.

“That’s all we are after. It would make us proud, make him happy for all the hard work he is put in at such a young age.

“He really, really does deserves this.”

Muhsin added, with a big smile on his face: “It would mean everything.”

“I would be very excited if I went.”

Muhsin said his favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo and he wants to copy his iconic goal celebration when he scores a goal.

“I would want to play for Real Madrid, that’s my goal,” he said.

Muhsin said he is a huge football fan and enjoyed watching the Matildas at the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup.

“They (the Matildas) were very good, they played very good,” he said.

Mohamed said he has set up a GoFundMe page and he thanked those that have already supported him as he continues to help his son live out his football dream.

“I’ve got about three weeks left and I’ve got to raise $15,000,” he explained.

“I’ve got a little bit more to go, but it’s $15,000 that I’m short.

“With the GoFundMe, I honestly had no idea how to use it, how to advertise or anything.

“But I’ve had a bit of support which is amazing from some family and friends, even some work colleagues and customers from work.

“Honestly I’m really appreciative towards anyone who has donated anything.

“I haven’t pushed it as much as I have wanted to, but this week I am trying to push as much as I can.

“Going to post a bit more on social media and speak to more customers and a few more people.

“For me, if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.

“I’m trying to do what I can just to try and help him get there.”

Sunrise host Natalie Barr wished Muhsin all the best for his football journey.

“If he has been scouted by West Ham, that means the kid is good!” Barr said enthusiastically.

“We know he is and we want to support him and we are right behind this.

“Let’s keep in touch and lets get that money raised.”
