Suits has been taking the streaming world by storm and while we are excited to revisit Pearson Spector Litt (or whatever it’s called in the episode that you’re currently watching), we definitely wish there was more to the story. After all, NYC law doesn’t slow down for anyone and there are definitely a lot of interesting cases that can be highlighted in later seasons. So is there a chance that Suits follows the reboot craze and comes back?
Here’s everything we know about Suits season 10.
Is Suits season 10 actually happening?
Unfortunately, there’s nothing officially happening just yet. But never say never! Suits creator Aaron Korsh gave a very good reason as to why the show isn’t in a rush to start up a revival just yet.
“Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works. Strike would have to end, some network or streamer would have to reach out and then we would have to collectively want to. Which is no small thing…,” he wrote on X (or Twitter).
However, while taking some fan questions, he did say that he was pretty happy with how the series ended so there’s also a chance that we just leave things as they are…
Wait, so Suits was supposed to end that way?
Yeah, when answering another fan question, creator Aaron Korsh noted that it was actually his idea to end with a 10-episode ninth season. Luckily, USA Network let him do what he wanted so the show could have a proper ending.
So there’s no chance that we’ll ever get a Suits revival?
Honestly, who knows! There’s always a chance especially as the cast has gotten together in during the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes recently. They all got together for a photo back in May and yes, it’s truly awesome to see them all together again (and in casual clothes)!
“A lot of us saw each other a month or so ago because there was a Suits-themed picket at Fox one day, and a lot of the writers, some of whom didn’t know each other because people were on Seasons 1 and 2, but not the later seasons, so some of the writers were meeting for the first time. But a lot of the actors came to that as well,” producer Gene Klein told TV Line.
Who would come back?
So many characters have come and gone throughout the years, so it’s a little tough to say who exactly would return if the show did get revived. However, there is one person who most likely won’t come back for some very good reasons.
Of course, we’re talking about the one and only Meghan Markle. She left the show after season 7 and fans have been hoping to see her back ever since.
“I would assume that’s just not possible,” Klein said in his interview with TV Line.
Hey, a small cameo wouldn’t hurt, right?
