What’s in Snoop Dogg’s Olympic Tote Bag? Skittles, Red Wine, and an Xbox Controller

By his estimation, Snoop Dogg owns “less than 1,000, more than 500” bags. The most important bag right now, however? His red, white, and blue Olympic tote.

It’s the perfect accessory for the hip-hop artist, given he’s currently in Paris providing commentary for NBC’s coverage of the 2024 Olympic Games. (Commentary is, yes, a fairly loose term. But what else would you call his jack-of-all-trades role, which has encompassed everything from carrying the Olympic torch to interviewing Simone Biles’s parents and being a hype man in the stands for USA swimming?) “Me and Paris have had a relationship since the early ’90s,” he says of the French capital. “They’ve always been good to me. They’ve treated me with love and respect, appreciated my music.”

Inside his bag, Snoop has a whole host of things: a bottle of his Snoop Cali Red wine, created in partnership with vineyard 19 Crimes; a bag of Rap Snacks with his face on it; a whole stack of Biscoffs. “I got to the airport, and I steal about 50 of them,” he says. “I get the munchies, baby.” Then there are some nonedible but very practical items: his iPad, for example, and his trusty stocking cap. “Whenever I’m having a bad-hair day, I just put this on my hair, and, voilà, I look like a million bucks,” he says.

Below, watch Snoop Dogg unpack and explain the objects he carries with him for Vogue’s video series In the Bag. And keep your eyes peeled for Snoop during prime-time Olympics coverage—especially during the segments featuring breaking (or competitive breakdancing), a sport that is being celebrated at the Games for the very first time. “I am happy that the Olympics is finally paying tribute to hip-hop,” he says.
