It’s commonly said that police officers are more likely to pull over red cars than other colors. However, there isn’t any conclusive evidence to prove the sentiment is factual. What we know is true is that we have our own preconceived notions about which vehicles get pulled over more. We want to know what cars are magnets for police?

Police stops aren’t just frustrating because of the potential ticket. On numerous occasions, interactions with law enforcement have also turned lethal quickly for drivers. While some departments recently changed their policy to eliminate stops, officers elsewhere still fabricate reasons to pull drivers over to fish for potential citations and arrests.

My choice is the Nissan Altima. While Nissan ended production of the notorious model, there are still thousands of Altimas on the road and they will be for the foreseeable future. The reputation that the Nissan garnered as the car of choice for terrible drivers. While being involved in an excessive amount of crashes, the cheap sedans likely don’t have the most well-off owners and find it difficult to pay a traffic ticket.

Don’t hesitate to share your choice for police magnet vehicles in the comments below.
