What Car Do You Love But Would Never Own?

As car enthusiasts, we have many automotive loves and only so much room in our garages (in my case, room on the street). That means we have to be a bit choosy about what we drive. Some stuff – even though we may love it – is just too flawed to justify owning. That’s what brings us to today’s question.

We want to know what car you love but would never actually own. It can be for any number of reasons. Maybe it’s too expensive for you to ever afford in the real world. Maybe it’s something that is known to be an absolute mess to own reliability-wise. Maybe it’s something that just doesn’t fit your lifestyle anymore. Anything is acceptable! I’m a writer, not your boss.

If I were to answer this question – which I am – my answer would be an L322 Range Rover Supercharged. I love absolutely everything about these trucks. They’re one of the best-looking normal cars of all time. The interior is quite lovely and comfortable, even two decades after its launch. The supercharged AJ V8 is a masterpiece of an engine that I deeply love, and they’re not even too expensive to buy. There’s just one issue with these British beasts: terrible, horrible, no good, very bad reliability and repair costs.

If even one thing goes wrong on an L322 Range Rover, you could be totaling put the car faster than you can say L322 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged, and that’s a damn shame. If we lived in a different worldm or I made a lot more money, I would have one of these beauts parked outside my apartment, but alas, I do not. If you see someone driving a pristine L322 Range Rover around, you know they are either the dumbest person you’ve ever seen or the richest person you’ve ever seen. To be honest, they could be both.

Anyway, drop on down below and let us know what car you love but would never own.
