We all have regrets. Mine was something I didn’t do; I turned down the chance to buy a beautiful 1965 Ford Thunderbird with a cherry blue-teal interior for almost no money. Now, to most of you, it probably sounds like I dodged a hulking, slow moving rusty bullet, but I still think about that car to this day. Cruising around Belle Isle on a warm summer night in a big boat of classic Detroit steel is a dream of mine, but, like a wuss, I chickened out of what would have been a fun, time-consuming rebuild of a beautiful piece of automotive history.
While I dream of blue leather bucket seats and chrome, you likely have very different regrets — a bolt that you snapped after thinking “just one more turn” or a wrong turn that put you and your vehicle directly into harm’s way.
