The third-generation Lincoln Continental was the first iteration of the iconic American luxury nameplate to be sold as a four-door sedan, and it was not a sales success. Prior to stumbling across this video, I didn’t know that the 1966 Continental was offered in a two-door coupe configuration, and it doesn’t look all that different from the four-door models. In my eyes, it looks a bit like a Buick Riviera from the side. (I honestly just saw the part of the video where the presenter makes that same comparison after I wrote the previous sentence, so I’m glad it’s not just me who sees that.)
