One of the beauties of modern tech is that it allows us to be able to record whenever and wherever, granting us access to some truly wild shit. Take this SUV crash that looks straight out of an action movie.
This latest video comes to us via a Reddit post by user r/stomcamperttv. In the video, what looks to be a big rig is going down the highway. Right in front of the semi truck a SUV suddenly spins into view before If the truck was just a few seconds ahead, this would have been a disaster.
What’s weird about all of this is the lack of details involving the incident. The original poster on Reddit didn’t give any details about where exactly this happened, leaving it up to internet sleuths in the comments to deduce that this happened on Michigan’s I-75 near Auburn Hills just 40 minutes north of Detroit. One user—r/GoldenGarbear — commented that they actually passed the scene of the crash and were able to get a bit of details from officers that were on the scene.
I couldn’t see all of it but I was getting off at that exit and you could see the tracks in the grass going up the hill and the guard rail was pretty mangled. The police had also blocked off the on ramps and there were a bunch of emergency vehicles around. I could only see the launch side and was unable to see the landing?
Edit: I just spoke with the officer at the school I work at and apparently the lady was conscious and responsive. No sign of intoxication or a medical cause of the crash.
Even checking local news didn’t turn up anything. We’ve reached out to Auburn Hills police and will let you know the deets when we find out more.
