Warzone Season 4 Reloaded release time, date, UPDATE patch notes, The Boys crossover | Gaming | Entertainment

Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 fans are counting down to the start of Season 4 Reloaded in Battle Royale and multiplayer. Season 4 Reloaded has a July 12 release date on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The update will go live alongside all of the new content at 5pm BST UK time. Season 4 Reloaded introduces a ton of new features, gameplay changes and in-game content, including a crossover with The Boys, new Field Upgrades and lots more. The content will go live alongside a big Call of Duty Warzone update, so check back for full patch notes closer to the release of Season 4 Reloaded.

Arguably the highlight of the update is the ability to play Battle Royale on the recently released Vondel map.

Vondel Battle Royale will support 72 players in solo, duo and squads. Fans can also continue to play Vondel in Resurgence mode.

The Vondel map comes with a new Gulag for 1v1 battles, as Vondel Castle’s wine cellar and dungeon joins the game.

Activision explains more: “At its core, this Gulag is a three-lane map designed for 1v1 combat. The centre features a circular structure with an opening facing the two main spawn points.

“This might feel familiar, and it should: It appears the architects responsible for Vondel’s Gulag took inspiration from a certain Prison Complex Showers.

“Although action will naturally funnel into the center – especially during overtime – these spawn areas have their own facilities for Operators to clean up and take cover.”

Elsewhere, the Occupation Scan is also coming back during the Season 4 Reloaded launch window.

The Occupation Scan is an in-game event in which players need to go prone or dive underwater in order to avoid being spotted.

Players unable to avoid the scan will be marked on the map for other players to see.

According to the early patch notes, DMZ’s Signals Intelligence Contract is also making its way to Vondel Battle Royale.

“Just like in DMZ, this Contract requires an Operator – or their squad – to go around hacking three contract phones,” Activision explains.

“However, this contract is now fine-tuned for Battle Royale and Resurgence – know that you are on the clock to get to these phones and try to stay alive to keep the cash flow going.”

Activision will also add a Portable Redeploy Drone to the game, which can be used to soar to new heights.

As part of the new update, Activision is teaming up with comic book franchise and Amazon TV show The Boys.

Fans will be able to purchase Starlight, Homelander and Black Noir operator bundles from the item shop.

You’ll also see various Boys-themed map updates, like posters and billboards featuring the “supes”.

Then there’s the Temp V Field Upgrade, which grants users one of four different random powers.

This includes the Charge Jump, the Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision and Teleport abilities.
