Vogue’s Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle Celebrate the 1 Year Anniversary of The Run-Through With a NYFW Fête

The 6th day of NYFW brought many firsts—the first big snowstorm of the season (which didn’t stop any editors from bouncing between shows across Manhattan) and the 1st anniversary of Vogue’s podcast The Run-Through with Chioma Nnadi, head of editorial content of British Vogue, and Chloe Malle, editor of Vogue.com. The dynamic host duo was in high spirits, and so were party-goers who arrived at Temple Bar eager to celebrate them.

At the fete, Vogue caught up with Nnadi and Malle on their favorite memories from the past year and what’s to come in 2024. Among their favorite guest, the two friends and colleagues mutually agreed Erykah Badu’s episode remains a highlight for them both. “Erykah Badu was so amazing because we had her read our Tarot cards, and when people come into the studio, it makes all the difference,” Malle told Vogue, sporting a black and gold sequin Proenza Schouler dress. “Usher was a big deal, too,” added Nnadi, wearing a chic two-toned red Alaia top, skirt, and pant combo. As for dream guests (dead or alive), for the former, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as a couple, ranked high on their wish list. As for the latter category, Nnadi cited Bob Marley, while Malle picked Dorothy Parker.

Inside the party, the dimly-lit New York hotspot setting was re-fit for the occasion with The Run-Through branded matches, fries, cocktails (including a Fashion Month Martini), and a live set by DJ Ross One. Attendees included Louisa Jacobson, Isan Elba, Joseph Altuzarra, Aurora James, Tory Burch and Pierre-Yves Roussel, Hillary Taymour, Fletcher Kasell, and Tanner Richie, Stuart Vevers and Benjamin Seidler, Christopher John Rogers, and more.

Another thing to celebrate last night? Nnadi and Malle in the same room! Since Nnadi’s appointment at British Vogue, she’s not often in NYC. If anything, it makes them more excited to hop on the podcast each week to catch up. “The best part is just getting to hang with Chloe, and she makes me laugh every time we record—and that’s why it’s also nice to be back in New York,” Nnadi told Vogue.
