Victoria Beckham’s health-boosting secret to youthful looks costs less than £5 | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Victoria Beckham has revealed a cost-effective ritual that she completes in the mornings on an “empty stomach” as part of her healthy diet regime.

In the latest issue of Hello!, the former Spice Girl opened up about her successful makeup brand and shared some essential “rituals” she utilises to aid her “everyday health”.

The ‘2 Become 1’ singer explained that certain well-known methods can help your skin, but also revealed she uses an LED machine, and sometimes dunks her face in water.

When asked which supplements she uses, the fashion designer explained that she has a “few rituals”, one of which is a cheap remedy that you can pick up for less than a fiver in many supermarkets.

Victoria said: “I have a few rituals that I do to support my everyday health, like a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach in the morning.”

She continued: “Then David and I usually have a green smoothie. We add spinach, broccoli, celery, cucumber, avocado, apple, lemon and ginger, so it’s anti-inflammatory and full of antioxidants and fibre.”

Apple cider vinegar, a home remedy made of apples and water, could offer a range of health benefits, including helping with weight loss, lowering cholesterol and blood sugar, and aiding with diabetes symptoms, reports Healthline.

In 2024, BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health published a study that showed obese and overweight patients who consumed a daily dose experienced a drop in weight, cholesterol, blood sugar and BMI, according to the Independent

However, Jessica Shand, a naturopathic nutritionist, told the publication that people should exercise caution if they have had stomach ulcers, although apple cider vinegar is unlikely to be harmful.

It’s also believed that vinegar can kill pathogens, such as bacteria, with people previously using it for cleaning purposes and the treatment of health conditions like ear infections and warts.

In January, it was reported that Victoria often posts photos of herself undergoing skincare treatments, with the singer describing her routine as “extensive”.

She said it includes everything from “LED lights to derma-planing and masking”. LED treatments, which are designed to stimulate collagen and limit inflammation, sometimes come in the form of a gadget that lies on the face.

In addition to these methods, the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmaker also uses products from her own makeup range, highlighting a certain item to “contour around my nose, cheekbones, forehead, my eyes, and finally to sharpen up that jawline”.
