Uniqlo puffer trench coat has £40 off for Black Friday

Black Friday 2024 has almost arrived, and the auspicious date of November 19 is no longer the first day of discounts, as many brands including Uniqlo have launched their sales much earlier.

The clothing brand, most popular for its thermal garments, has slashed the prices on its site, saving shoppers money on coats, knitwear, and accessories.

The sale started on Thursday, November 21, and will run until December 1, and while some items are only 20% off, some are as much as 40% cheaper.

The Down Belted Long Coat has been reduced from £109.90 to £69.90, saving £40 off, and it’s proving popular. The coat comes in three shades: Black, beige, and navy, but the black coat is already starting to sell out in several sizes. So, if this looks like the garment for you it’s best to act fast before even more sizes sell out.

The coat combines trench and puffer styles – with a belted, mid-length design and a lightweight but premium down filling for winter warmth.

Shoppers are snapping up the coat for the colder months. One gave it a five-star review, saying: ”It is at least a size too big for me but it feels like I’m in a warm cosy nest. It’s the perfect way to leave the house in the winter; it feels like a perpetual hug.

“I think it works well as an oversized padded trench and I wouldn’t think of belting it because there is really no way to get a slim silhouette. Along with the two different types of neck fastening, there is a sly, elastic loop to fasten the collar to make it super warm and wind-resistant.

Another commented: ”Snow and Frost arrived yesterday, coat kept me cosy and was nice and light to wear, I ordered my usual size and it fitted well, with a bit of room the layering underneath.” [SIC]

A third shopper said: ”Very comfortable to wear. Although, please note that it comes up big so better to get a smaller size.” [SIC]
