Riders will then help design and create the limited-edition friendship bracelets to swap at one of the star’s concerts.
Even better, the bracelets, which will be placed in the Ubers, 200 of them will have a special code which could see you bag £20 off Uber Reserve.
The announcement comes as Uber has shared the impact Swifities have had on the local economy.
The brand reported a rise in demand in every city that the singer has toured.
For those in the US, it saw Phoenix have the biggest increase of them all thanks to a whopping 63% rise in Uber requests when the US singer was in town.
Meanwhile, for other cities, it saw an average increase of 23% when The Eras Tour was taking place.
As Swift is gearing up to play her UK shows, Uber is also expecting an influx of booking requests from her fans.
Andrew Brem, General Manager of Uber UK, said: “Uber has seen first-hand the ‘Swift Lift’, with a noticeable rise in demand when the superstar comes to town, and we expect the same uplift in demand with her UK tour dates.
“With hundreds of thousands of fans attending the concerts every weekend Taylor is here, our riders will be depending on Uber more than ever to get home safely.”
Dayna Isom Johnson, Etsy Trends Expert, said: “With a community of over 97M buyers and over 8M sellers worldwide, Etsy is reshaping the way fans engage with their favorite artists.
“In fact, while Taylor was touring across the US in 2023, we saw a 22,313% increase in searches for concert inspired friendship bracelets as well as a 43% increase in searches for friendship bracelet kits, and we anticipate the same trend will sweep Europe throughout 2024.”
All you have to do is download the Uber app and pre-book your ride if you want to be in with a chance of getting a friendship bracelet this June.
