Former President Donald Trump’s Boeing 757 struck a parked corporate jet on the tarmac of West Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday. No one was hurt in the collision, but the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident. The taxi mishap is just a drop in the legal complication bucket of the candidate who once said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK? It’s, like, incredible.”

The parked jet wasn’t just a random person on Fifth Avenue. The aircraft is owned and operated by VistaJet, the $2.6 billion charted private jet business. The company’s fleet of over 360 Bombardier planes flies customers to destinations on demand, with VistaJet charging an hourly rate. While the FAA noted that the VistaJet’s rear elevator was hit, the report is light on details and unsure of the damage’s extent. An agency spokesperson told WFLA:

“A privately owned Boeing 757 landed safely at West Palm Beach International Airport around 1:20 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 12. While taxiing, its winglet contacted a parked and unoccupied corporate jet. The incident occurred in an area of the airport where the FAA does not direct aircraft.”

The Trump Boeing 757 is a fixture at West Palm Beach, with the airport only a six-mile drive from Mar-a-Lago. The reality TV star bought the airliner in 2011 for $100 million and replaced every metallic surface with gold, including the seatbelt buckles. It’s not clear if Trump was on the plane during the collision as he juggles his presidential campaign and appearing at trial in New York on charges related to allegedly paying hush money to pornstar Stormy Daniels.
