KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were enjoying their time off with their significant others today at the U.S. Open men’s final earlier today in New York.
Kelce, Taylor Swift, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were all in attendance at the tennis final, watching Jannik Sinner take down Taylor Fritz for his second Grand Slam title of the year.
The double date sparked vast global interest, coming just days after Swift made yet another appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in the Chiefs’ NFL season-opening win. Additionally, the sighting comes after many fans speculated that Swift and Brittany Mahomes were not on good terms.
Headlines late last week highlighted Brittany’s suspected support of presidential candidate Donald Trump through her activity on Instagram. The Mahomes have not endorsed any candidate, nor are they likely to.
However, with Taylor and Brittany sitting apart from each other at Thursday night’s game, many started to wonder, as Swift has been critical of Trump in the past.
Fans can now safely put that idea to rest, though, as the two were seen multiple times chatting, celebrating and hugging each other in the luxury stands of Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Clips of Taylor and Travis singing together and embracing each other at the match made noise online too, as well as Travis’ head-to-to Gucci outfit.
Now, swifties will have to wait until next Sunday, when the Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead, to see if Swift makes another appearance.
