Travis Kelce Dedicates Karaoke Performance To Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce might have a career in performing onstage lined up after the NFL.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was filmed singing his heart out at a karaoke contest that was part of festivities surrounding the 2024 American Century Championship, a celebrity-filled charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Video clips shared on social media showed Kelce belting out Whitesnake’s 1982 hit “Here I Go Again” on stage Thursday night, holding nothing back.

Though it’s possible Kelce might have put some strain on his vocal cords during his performance, his fiery rendition of the ’80s classic wasn’t in vain.

The NFL star won the karaoke competition and dedicated the prize to none other than his pop icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“Taylor, this is for you,” he said in the mic as he jokingly pretended to be emotional while holding the trophy onstage.

Kelce’s karaoke performance wasn’t the first time he’s made headlines for performing this summer.

The Chiefs tight end made a surprise appearance in a skit with Swift during the singer’s concert in London last month on her Eras tour.

Kelce rocked a top hat and black tailcoat and broke out a few dance moves before he pretended to put makeup on Swift, videos shared by fans on social media showed.

But despite his vibrant onstage presence, the NFL player revealed last month on his podcast, “New Heights,” that he hopes to become a sportscaster after he retires from the league.

“I want to be the talking head that calls the games,” he said at the time.
