Transitioning baby to drink from cup: Mum behind baby bottle that left parents ‘blown away’ launches ‘exceptional’ new product

The mum behind a baby bottle beloved by parents is launching a new sippy teat attachment designed to make the transition from bottle to cup easier for mums and dads.

Jeannette Nguyen – who has two children under two – got sick with COVID-19 when she was 35 weeks pregnant with her first child, and she was forced to have an emergency caesarean and then placed in an induced coma for four weeks.

When she came around, Jeannette was unable to breastfeed her daughter – which led her on a search for the “perfect” baby bottle and cost her hundreds of dollars in trial and error.

Dissatisfied with the experience after trying around 10 different bottle brands, Jeannette said her daughter “still wasn’t feeding properly, sleeping well and was generally unsettled”.

This led her to think that there must be something better, and eventually prompted her to launch her business: Mooki.
