Pride Parade cancelled mid-route after pro-Palestinian demonstration on Yonge
While thousands proudly flooded the streets to celebrate the annual Dyke March during Pride weekend in Toronto, the Pride Parade the following day was forced to halt proceedings mid-route after it was interrupted by pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
All it took was about 20 protesters chanting “Free Palestine” and “Pride wants a riot” near the intersection of Yonge and Wellesley Sts. to disrupt what had been a celebratory mood.

While it was unfortunate for paradegoers and attendees, where more than 200 contingents and 200,000 marchers took part in the city’s annual extravaganza, organizers weren’t about to risk anyone’s safety and apologized for the inconvenience caused by their decision.
OnlyFans prison guard charged over raunchy inmate sex video
A former guard at a London prison was arrested and charged with misconduct over a wild video showed her having sex with an inmate.
The shocking footage shows Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, in uniform on her knees performing a sex act on the unidentified jailbird — all of which was captured by the inmate’s cellmate, Brad Hunter reported.
While the men behind and in front of the camera were pleased with the results, one person wasn’t: the inmate’s girlfriend, who showed up at the prison with their child.

SIMMONS: Maple Leafs signings — The good, the bad and the ugly
Steve Simmons looked at all the signings Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving did during the annual free-agent frenzy and no pressure for Chris Tanev, who appears to have a lot riding on him and how he will hopefully transform the Leafs the way he did the Stars in his first few months in Dallas.
While the signing of Jani Hakanpaa seems untimely, there’s a little more hope regarding Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Anthony Stolarz, though Simmons has questions. But let’s not forget the extension of Joseph Woll, who will be pushed to a level he has not before known — as long as he can keep injuries at bay.

LILLEY: Trudeau won’t give up on idea of taxing your home
On a recent trip to Vancouver, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau secretly met with a group, Generation Squeeze, a strong advocate for taxing Canadians’ primary residences, Brian Lilley reported.
Given the group and Trudeau speak the same language when talking about fairness for every generation, it shouldn’t be surprising if the Liberals soon announce some sort of taxation.
That said, it’s not the first time the Liberals have looked into taxing the sales of primary residences and nothing came of it. Yet.
But don’t believe the denials that will immediately come from the Libs, at least for now, especially since the Trudeau government hasn’t found a problem that they don’t think a new tax will solve.

Eugenie Bouchard shows off green thumb in sexy green bikini
Fans of Eugenie Bouchard got an eyeful after the former tennis star shared her “yard work” photos — which look nothing like any yard work we’ve ever done.
Granted, we also don’t own a green string bikini or look like Bouchard in one but even some of the Montreal native’s most loyal followers were a little confused by how she rakes leaves, Denette Wilford reported.
American tennis player-turned-pickleball pro Sam Querrey joked in the comments that he was “thinking of doing a similar photo montage later this week” — and he didn’t disappoint.
Querrey donned bright green swim trunks and posed, hosed and swept like Bouchard, who took it all in stride.
Advantage, Genie.
