Tom Hardy gives suave next James Bond audition in action-packed Venom 3 trailer | Films | Entertainment

The third and final Venom movie is set to release this October and now the first action-packed trailer has landed.

Amid all the superhero chaos are some scenes set in Las Vegas, with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock sporting a tuxedo.

The 46-year-old has long been a bookies’ favourite to play the next James Bond and this sequence of him adjusting his cufflinks will certainly be taken as something of a 007 audition by fans.

Of course, it’s possible the star could be too old to take up the Licence to Kill, with rumours abounding that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast; although nothing is yet confirmed.

Whatever the case, Hardy certainly looks the part in the trailer, which you can view above.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run.

“Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”

“Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker.”

Venom: The Last Dance hits cineast on October 25, 2024.
