Tinashe, Teyana Taylor, and Drag Race Stars Spent a Night on The Tiles With Christian Louboutin Beauté

Amanda Lepore doesn’t typically ‘do’ Monday nights—especially not in Midtown—but if Louboutin is throwing a NYFW party, she’ll make an exception. After all, she does have over 200 pairs. Lepore wasn’t the only one who broke her own rule by donning her red soles and staying out late on a school night; Teyana Taylor, Larsen Thompson, nightlife personalities, drag queens, and every beauty creator you typically see on your social feeds headed to Silencio on West 57th for the launch of Christian Louboutin Beauté’s new fragrance collection, Fétiche.

“I don’t even know what night it is; it’s such a good vibe that I forgot it’s Monday,” Kerri Colby, Drag Race star, told Vogue. “It’s cute in here! Louboutin is so inclusive—it was one of the first luxury brands to extend sizes to everyone—and representation matters, angel. It’s good to see all the people looking good and coming out.”

To kick things off, Violet Chachki was on DJ duty. The Drag Race Season 7 winner made sure everyone lining up to make their Reels at the experiential photo moments dotted around the room had suitable hype music to serve.

Just past midnight, the room was still abuzz as Tinashe took to the decks for a surprise set. The performer, whose song Nasty is currently everywhere on TikTok, has been in town for shows including Off-White and Tommy Hilfiger, much to the delight of street-style photographers snapping her every move. “Tinashe eats and eats and eats and kills and kills and kills, she’s going to bring it—I really want to be friends with her,” Colby said of her girl crush.

OG Fashion Week fixture Leigh Lezark was spinning around the subterranean spot’s light-up red and white checkered dance floor in her platform heels while influencers surrounded makeup maestro Patrick Ta to try to get a selfie with him—under the glow of someone’s portable light naturally. (The beauty girls always know how to get the winning shot!). Backstage behind the DJ booth, CT Hedden and Jaycie O’Day gossiped about their plans to attend the European shows next week.

Everywhere you looked around the room, it was high heels and higher cheekbones, as Reformation model Yada Villaret, downtown ‘doll’ twins Jake and Josie Dupont, and creators including Erica Pelosini, Meredith Mickelson, Flaviana Matata, Zandra Pohl, Abi Hoffman, Alioune Badara Fall, Igee Okafor, Eva Gutowski, and more posed up a storm. Lots of industry players had also come for a late-night drink, hot-footing it back to the city’s most scintillating red room club all the way from Bushwick, where the LaQuan Show had taken place.

At 2 a.m., content with starting the week off as they intend to go on, attendees headed out into the night armed with a sensual new scent to encourage them to get to the NYFW finish line.
