Smallcap funds top return chart
Smallcap funds have offered the highest average return of around 26.94% in the last five years. Around 19 smallcap funds completed five years of existence. Quant Small Cap Fund offered the highest return of 40.56%. Nippon India Small Cap Fund, the largest fund based on assets managed, gave 31.11% returns in the same time period.

PSU theme based funds gave an average return of 25.77% in the last five years. There were around three funds in the period. Invesco India PSU Equity Fund gave the highest return of around 28.28%. CPSE ETF and SBI PSU Fund gave 24.98% and 24.6% returns, respectively, in the same time period.

Infrastructure sector based mutual funds gave an average return of 25.22% in the last five years. There were around 18 funds in the category that completed five years in the market. Quant Infrastructure Fund gave the highest return of around 35.68% in the last five years. UTI Infrastructure Fund gave the lowest return of 20.04% in the period.
