Sydneysiders in the city’s inner west are being treated to an early Christmas present with a $0.99/L petrol deal.
The deal will be available at the Metro petrol station on Parramatta Rd in Haberfield from 3pm till 5pm on Tuesday.

“Spread the word … because Christmas has come early!” DCT Group said on social media announcing the deal.
A Mr Whippy van will be on-site with free ice creams.
The deal extends across all fuel types.
The offer is part of an initiative run by community and giveaways group Dreams Come True (DCT).
DCT founder Jon Tsingolis told Sunrise on Tuesday there was “no catch”, and the organisation wanted to assist the community as “times are tough right now”.
“Come in, fill your petrol up for 99 cents a litre,” he said.
“You don’t have to be a member here at DCT… it is literally an early Christmas present from DCT to the public.
“And we just want to help put some money back in the people’s pockets and just in time for Christmas.”
The deal marks the first time a Sydney petrol station has sold petrol for under $1 since the pandemic.
