Larry Emdur has revealed how he “ruined” the couch in The Morning Show’s brand new studio after his “cheap jeans” had “leaked” all over the fabric.
On Monday, Larry and co-host Kylie Gillies broadcast from the show’s all-new studios for the first time.

During a live cross to Sunrise on Thursday, Larry admitted that the couch had to undergo some emergency cleaning after an unfortunate incident.
“Larry and Kylie are here again on the couch today,” Sunrise host Matt Shirvington said.
“Was there some dry cleaning happening on that couch overnight for some reason?”
“Yes,” Larry admitted. “I ruined the couch. Day three.”
Shocked, Sunrise host Nat Barr asked: “What did you do on that couch?”
The popular host went on to admit that an unfortunate wardrobe choice had lead to the drama.
“Well, it’s a longer story but essentially because I try and save the network money all the time,” he said.
“I’ve got cheap jeans and they leaked.”
Stunned, Nat asked: “Your jeans leaked? Leaked what?!”
As Nat and Shirvo cracked up laughing, Kylie said the stains were caused by “black dye”.
“Cheap jeans,” Larry said. “Don’t buy cheap jeans, kids.”
But Kylie wasn’t convinced, asking: “Or were they the more expensive ones with more dye in them?”
Larry shut down the talk, saying that the sofa was never going to stay clean regardless.
“One or the other. It’s not important!” he said.
Pointing at the couch, he added: “There’ll be wombats weeing on this in no time so don’t worry about my jeans, everyone.”
Shirvo then shared Nat’s solution to Larry’s jeans problem.
“Nat wants you to take your pants off,” he said. “Because it’s staining the couch.”
Nat responded: “I did not say that!”
However Larry said he wasn’t sure that would solve the issue.
“You haven’t seen my undies yet,” he said. “That could be worse!”
