Can the ultimate black handbag be dethroned? It would certainly seem so, since chocolate and hazelnut counterparts dominated the catwalks for fall/winter 2024. Just take a look at Acne Studios. The Swedish fashion house’s artistic director created an aged-effect leather version of the brand’s iconic Multipoches bag. Meanwhile, for her first show for Chloé, Chemena Kamali opted for XXL models with a bag featuring dramatized volumes, while Burberry created an object of desire where the concept of minimalism reigns supreme.
