Tennis ace Coco Gauff takes swing at cramped Olympic Village

“10 girls, two bathrooms. #olympicvillage,” the 20-year-old tennis phenom wrote on social media.

The video showed the Olympians attempting to do hair and makeup in the tight quarters.

Olympic villages are located in several French cities, including Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen and L’Ile-Saint-Denis. The villages were built to accommodate 14,250 Olympians.

One social media user suggested the athletes should move to a hotel.

Gauff said some have already done so.

“All the tennis girls moved to a hotel except me. So now just five girls, two bathrooms,” the 2023 U.S. Open women’s champion and this year’s French Open doubles champ responded.

Gauff, 20, said the rooms were designed for eight people. The second-ranked player in the world said she and her roommates have kept the room clean for the “well-being of all of us.”

James and the men’s basketball team, meanwhile, are not staying in the village either, the Post reported.

“The last few times I’ve done the Olympics, we’ve spent our fair share in the Olympic Village and felt like a part of the group there,” Team USA’s Kevin Durant told USA Today. “We stay outside of it, but we get our time right before the opening ceremony”
