For this evening’s Grammys 2024, Swift opted for a duet of pretty plaits woven into her artfully mussed blonde locks—along with a medley of aesthetic hints.
To accompany her white corseted Schiaparelli couture gown, black satin opera gloves and a layering of silver chains and wristwatch as a choker, Swift opted for two bohemian braids, one thin one arching over the ear, the other blended into and shaping the rumpled blonde tresses that fell over one shoulder. A side-swept bang and polish at the crown ensured that the style skewed more glamorous than bohemian, the balance also aided by a sharp black cat eye and that trademark red lip.
Between the natural texture, the black-and-white look, and the quietly gothic accessories, Swift’s red carpet pass practically screamed Reputation (Taylor’s Version), thought to be the next album on her re-release menu, she also changed .
