Taylor Swift Wore Those Glitter Freckles You’ve Been Seeing All Over TikTok—See the Photos

Between traveling the world on the Eras tour, attending awards shows, probably writing and recording another secret album (or the much-anticipated Taylor’s Version of Reputation), and everything else on Taylor Swift’s schedule, she somehow manages to find the time to scroll TikTok. At least, we think so, given that Swift just attended a Kansas City Chiefs game wearing one of the video platform’s most popular beauty trends du jour, glitter freckles!

Swift was in attendance for the Chiefs versus New Orleans Saints Game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, cheering on her boyfriend Travis Kelce in classic Taylor glam with a twist. Her signature cat eye liner and red lipstick were present and accounted for, as usual, but she added a smattering of glitter across the bridge of her nose and cheekbones for a little extra sparkle. And speaking of shine, she also swapped her usual matte lipstick for a glossy version.

If you’re not familiar, glitter freckles are exactly what they sound like, but the application is a bit more precise than you’d think. Instead of smearing body glitter across the upper portion of the face like I did in junior high, many TikTokers are using actual temporary glitter tattoos! The trend has been popular for much of 2024, and Swift may have found it via Swifties, who have been wearing them for Eras tour shows. (She does have a song called “Bejeweled,” after all.) A bride even added them to her afterparty look for a little extra sparkle.

Swift’s freckles are Fazit’s Makeup Patches, which retail for $15.99 and come in a variety of colors, including silver, purple, red, gold, and rose gold. You apply them just like a temporary tattoo, sticking them to your skin, patting it down, and gently peeling off the back to make the whole place shimmer—perfect for a football game, Halloween party, or Friday night on the couch.
