Tata Motors will increase prices on its trucks and buses by up to 2% starting January 1, 2025, the automobile giant said on Thursday, citing rising input costs.
The price hike will affect all truck and bus models, though the exact amount will vary depending on the specific model and variant.
This announcement follows similar price increase from other automakers. Several passenger vehicle manufacturers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, and Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle division, plan to raise prices in January.
Luxury car brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi have also increased prices.
Earlier on Monday, Tata Motors announced that it will increase prices across its passenger vehicle range, including electric models, starting January 2025. Increases will be up to 3 percent and will vary by model and variant.
