Tampa dad defends ‘predator’ daughter accused of sex with boys

The 23-year-old Tampa woman is accused of pretending to be a homeschooled 14-year-old girl. Cops say the gambit was designed to lure teen boys into engaging in sex acts with her.

One of the alleged victims was 12 years old. She was 21 at the time.

Now, newly released police bodycam footage captures her father claiming that it is his daughter who is the real victim.

Cops swooped down on the Zinger home in November 2023 to seize her cellphone as a result of allegations she had videotaped a sexual encounter with one of the teens.

Her dad told cops his “beautiful young daughter” had “a lot of problems and mental issues”

“We have been doing nothing but being 100 percent cooperative,” he told cops, adding that the situation “sucks.”

“(My daughter) got messed up with the wrong kid, even though he’s a lot younger,” the father said. “My daughter, never been in trouble in her life — even though he’s young, she had never been in trouble in her life — until she was starting to get with him.”

The defensive dad then slammed the young victim as “insane.”

He said: ‘Like I said, my daughter has never been in trouble in her life, this kid is 14 years old, he’s got girls at his house, videotaping them, making porn at 14. My daughter’s 22, she was a virgin till she was 21.”

But according to cops, Alyssa Zinger was no Little Miss Goody Two Shoes. Investigators say that Zinger allegedly engaged in more than 30 sexual acts with five young boys.

To worm her way into their hearts and pants, she claimed she had been homeschooled and targeted the first victim on Snapchat. She then embarked on a sexual relationship with the lad.

Since her arrest in September 2023, she was hammered again after four more alleged victims came forward claiming they had been targeted for sex with Zinger.

Cops say she had sexual intercourse with the first alleged victim on multiple occasions and sent a porn video of the pair to several other young boys via Snapchat. The boys believed she was 14.

She has been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery and five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim who is between 12 and 15 years old. The age of consent in Florida is 18.

She has pleaded not guilty and was initially released on bail.

However, last July, Zinger again fell afoul of the law when she and the first victim were busted for allegedly shoplifting from a Nordstrom store. She told the cop she was born in 2009 — instead of her actual birthdate of 2001.

Then, she allegedly claimed to the suspicious cop that she had a half-sister with the same name. Her supermarket employers confirmed her real identity.

“You don’t really seem to grasp the problem here,” Judge Laura Ward told Zinger in April. “You are the problem here. Your actions on these boys are illegal. And it’s not OK, whether they took the video, or you took the video. You are the only adult.”

Zinger’s bid for pre-trial release in June was torpedoed and she remains caged in the county jail until her trial.
