Ever since Suki Waterhouse formally announced her pregnancy at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City wearing a pink sparkly minidress, gold chainmail boots, and a furry shrug, she’s been one to watch on the maternity fashion radar. Last night the actor, singer, and model, joined by her partner Robert Pattinson, continued her upward baby bump style trajectory when attended the Poor Things premiere afterparty.
Waterhouse went for a white base layer, wearing a long, sheer ribbed cardigan with pronounced gaps between the buttons. Underneath her sweater, which grazed the tops of her Nike Air Force Ones, she kept it comfy in a pair of flowing white satin pants from Dissh.
But as it reaches freezing-level temperatures in New York City, Waterhouse opted for a cozy outer layer that opposed her all-white look. She bundled up in a reversible, oversized black leather coat lined with black shearling from Cos. Contrasting her flimsy white cardigan, the mother-to-be draped a chunky black knit scarf around her neck.
This high-contrast outfit follows Waterhouse’s H&M Studio Holiday capsule look that she wore the British Fashion Awards earlier this week. “I think I’m actually wearing four dresses in one,” she said of her look, which was adapted for her baby bump.
