Suki Waterhouse launches ‘stunning’ Golden Goose collection

She’s the British singer, model and actress who recently enjoyed rave reviews for her appearance in the smash TV show Daisy Jones and The Six.

And now, Suki Waterhouse has turned her impeccable taste towards the art of design.

Suki has partnered with cult Italian brand Golden Goose to launch a capsule collection inspired by the city of Venice and featuring the brand’s iconic designs.

Dubbed Dreamed by Suki Waterhouse, her collection features three one-of-a-kind pieces.

These include a limited-edition series of 20 images she captured in Venice, a stunning Swarovski crystal-embellished, cropped, sleeveless T-shirt with padded shoulders and – my personal favourite – a pair of knee-high cowboy boots emblazoned with an eagle.

Each piece feels like something Suki would wear herself, but they’re also stunning fashion choices that would make the perfect gift for the fashion lover in your life.

Each of the items aims to fuse Venetian craftsmanship and Western spirit.

When news of Suki’s Golden Goose collection broke on Instagram, it wasn’t long before the brand was inundated with compliments and praise.

“This collection is absolutely stunning,” one shopper wrote.

“Those boots!” another added.

But Suki’s Dreamed by Suki Waterhouse collection is just one part of Golden Goose’s Dreamed By collection.

Alongside Suki, Golden Goose also asked other artists from different fields – including Fabio Novembre, Quannah Chasinghorse, Dr Woo and SUNMI – to each “reinterpret and personalise classic Venetian icons”.

Each artist was asked to design a pair of footwear, a ready-to-wear piece and a unique object linked to their own Venetian experience – all of which are available online to purchase.

Golden Goose has gone from strength to strength in recent times, with several stores in Australia – Westfield Sydney, Westfield Bondi Junction, Chadstone Shopping Centre and Golden Goose’s Melbourne Flagship.

One of the highlights of a trip in to the Italian shop is the co-creation station that is available to personalise each and every item.

Once you’ve selected an item of your choice, you can end up with a one-of-a-kind piece by adding studs, crystals, words, logos and even drawings (don’t worry, there are professional illustrators at the ready) – all for $150.

The skilful “Sneakers Makers” as they are called, can personalise newly purchased products from sneakers to denim pieces, t-shirts and sweatshirts, jackets, and bags.

“You can buy and customise everything everywhere, only at Golden Goose you can personalise and give your creative input,” Golden Goose CEO Silvio Campara said.

At the Melbourne flagship stores (Chadstone and Collins Street specifically), Golden Goose has also introduced the concept of the LAB which allows customers to witness how the brand’s products are treated and distressed by hand through special brushes and treatments.
