Stocks to buy today: DLF, M&M among top 10 trading ideas for September, 24, 2024

The Indian market is expected to trade higher on Tuesday, tracking positive global cues.

The Nifty futures closed positively, gaining 0.57% at 25,915 levels on Monday. The India VIX rose by 7.78%, closing at 13.78.

On the options front, the maximum Call OI is at the 27,000 strike, followed by the 26,000 strike, while the maximum Put OI is at the 25,500 strike, then at the 25,000 strike.

Call writing is observed at the 27,000 strike and then at the 25,900 strike, while Put writing is seen at the 25,900 strike and then at the 25,800 strike.

“Options data suggests a broader trading range between the 25,500 to 26,500 zones, with an immediate range between 25,700 to 26,200 levels,” said Chandan Taparia, Analyst – Derivatives at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited.

“Nifty formed a bullish candle on the daily chart on Monday and has been making higher highs for the last four sessions,” he noted.“The index needs to hold above the 25,850 level for an upward move towards 26,050 and then 26,200, while support is at 25,850 and then at 25,750,” Taparia recommended.We have compiled a list of stocks from the F&O basket, along with cash market suggestions from various experts, for traders with a short-term trading horizon:
