SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Starbucks is releasing a pair of limited-edition drinks inspired by two main characters of the upcoming film, “Wicked.”

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 22, the coffee chain will introduce Glinda’s Pink Potion and Elphaba’s Cold Brew to celebrate the new film ahead of its release next month.

Starbucks described Glinda’s Pink Potion as a variation of its Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, topped with nondairy strawberry cold foam and colorful candy sprinkles. The drink is intended to capture the brightness and charm of Glinda, the Good Witch of the South.

For those who prefer a stronger flavor, Elphaba’s Cold Brew is the bolder option. This coffee drink comes with peppermint-flavored syrup and a matcha-infused cold foam — an ode to the iconic green skin of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.

Starbucks will also release a variety of tumblers and cold cups in vibrant shades of green, pink and gold starting Nov. 7 in select stores, while supplies last.

“Wicked,” which debuts in movie theaters on Nov. 22, is adapted from the highly successful Broadway musical of the same name and serves as a prequel to the classic story “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film focuses on Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood because of her green skin and who has yet to realize her full potential.

The star-studded cast includes Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.

Nexstar’s Ashleigh Jackson contributed to this story.
