A man was punched and treated in hospital for head injuries after his dog got into a fight with two other canines at a park in Adelaide’s west.
The man had taken his dog for a walk at Pooch Park in Tedder Reserve in Findon on Saturday evening when two other dogs became aggressive, and an incident occurred, police said.
All three dogs ran towards Findon Rd and then towards the River Torrens, followed by their owners.

“When they (the owners) returned to the car park, the victim was punched to the face, lost consciousness and fell to the ground,” a police spokesperson said.
Police described the suspect as being a caucasian man, about 35 years old, with a large stocky build, approximately 175 cm tall with blonde shoulder-length, fuzzy hair.
“He was wearing an orange and silver horizontal striped hi-vis long sleeve shirt, dark work pants and dark steel capped boots,” police said.
The suspect’s dogs were described as medium-sized, about 20-25kg, with shaggy long fur.
One of the dogs, named Benji, had a chocolate coloured coat, while the other had a light beige coloured coat, police said.
