The headphones, while pricey at $699, are a cut above others on the market, thanks to their world-class Active Noise Cancellation, impressive battery life and superior comfort.

Made from memory foam and vegan leather, the headphones have also been carefully created in order to deliver the most balanced sound profile and distortionless playback.

And let me assure you — they deliver.

I found the headphones the most comfortable I have ever tried on.

Not only this, but the sound quality and the ability to effortlessly move between calls and music is unrivalled and super easy to use.

Available in Black and Soft White like many Sonos products, the headphones look stylish and classy whether they’re in the case or out.

I plumped for Black, as I often wear makeup and have made the mistake of buying white over-ear headphones before and getting makeup all over them.

And upon use, I found them lightweight, crisp to listen to and, most importantly, comfortable.

In the past, I’ve found after extensive listening (like on a flight or a long meeting), my previous headphones start to dig into the sides of my head.

This is not the case with the Sonos Ace headphones.

Other top-notch features include a status light and Bluetooth pairing button.

Both USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to 3.5mm connections are supported, which is useful.

The headphones also feature a rapid charging capability, if you’re caught on the run with no charge and rushing out and want to use the headphones.

But with an impressive 30-hour battery life, you shouldn’t have to worry about them running out on you any time soon.

Personally, I also love the built-in sensors that detect when you’re wearing the Sonos Ace.

Playback automatically pauses when you take the headphones off your ears and resumes when you put them back on.

It’s the little details like these that set the headphones apart.

“We knew our first foray into the category needed to champion the type of innovation and sound experience Sonos has become synonymous with,” CEO of Sonos Patrick Spence said in a statement.

Sonos Ace leverages everything we’ve learned over two decades as an audio leader to bring stunning sound, sleek design and long-standing comfort to one of the largest and most popular audio categories worldwide.”

Sonos Brand Ambassador Pip Edwards sat down with Best Picks to discuss the headphones and how she is incorporating them into her daily life.

My Sonos Ace headphones have become my go-to as I move throughout my day,” Pip told Best Picks.

“Not only are they beautifully designed, but they travel with me everywhere from my daily walks and the office to flying and relaxing at home.”

Pip explained that “music is the heartbeat of everything I do” when it comes to her being the brains behind activewear company, P.E. Nation.

“Just as fashion moves with us, sound moves with us too, and as our lifestyles evolve we want seamless style and sound that takes us anywhere. I was already a big Sonos fan, with their speakers set up in my home, so I love that I can enjoy that awesome quality of sound wherever I go.”

According to the 44-year-old designer, the headphones have quickly become one of her “most important travel essentials”.

As I have found, she said they are the “most comfortable headphones I have ever worn — you almost forget you’re wearing them.

“With 30 hours battery life they’re perfect for long haul flights, and they come with an aeroplane cable, so you can still enjoy great sound when flying,” she explained.
