Rugby league and union great Sonny Bill Williams and wife Alana have announced the arrival of their fifth child.
The boy named Mohammed was born on Wednesday after a “long nine months” keeping the pregnancy secret.
“Four kilos, healthy boy and healthy mum,” Williams said on Instagram.

Williams shared the news with a video beginning with the moment their four older children learned of the looming addition.
“Yes, some would say we are suckers for punishment,” he joked afterwards.
The parents said they did not learn the gender ahead of the birth, but Williams was allowed to choose the name if the baby was a boy.
The devout Muslim was later pictured holding the newborn, celebrating his arrival before sharing footage of their other children arriving for the first meeting as a family of seven.
“May Allah raise and bless young Mohammed to grow to be a strong, righteous man,” Williams said.
Williams recently returned from a journey to Mecca.
He retired from the rugby codes after a brief return to the NRL with the Sydney Roosters in 2020.
Williams jumped back into the boxing ring over the next two years, beaten by New Zealand MMA great Mark Hunt in his last bout.
He has since become a prominent rugby union commentator.
